Nattie's Show Career

Above: Nattie the bookworm just checking her pedigree

Nattie trotted straight into our house at 7 weeks old and has ruled the roost as far as the boys are concerned ever since. In the middle, proving she is top of the heap. On the right: getting the most from the woodburner!

Nattie is variously known as Nat, Natwitch, Witchie or The Beauteous One- she answers to them all!

Nattie seems to be able to turn her paw to everything just like her dad Muppet ! Here she is in the summer of 2004 doing "the weavers" at a Dogs For Life holiday. Trainer Phil Williams is watching closely!

Nattie has also completed beginners gundog training and has just started flyball. She, like the boys, helps a local behaviourist Trisha Hollingshead deal with dogs with aggression problems, she has a lot of her Dad's temperament. Nattie has visited Chepstow Community Hospital, going around the wards with Rich on Christmas Day.

Nattie has had a very sucessful show season in 2004 being placed 9 times in the first 2 in Post Graduate Bitch. She also won a Group 2 placing at The Vale of Glamorgan Show under the esteemed Judge Glyn Griffith.

Right: Are they good with cats?

Of course they are!

Nattie has been a perfect Mum. She had eight puppies on January 24th 2005. Five girls and three boys. The puppies have all turned into wonderful outgoing young dogs.

At National Gundog Association Championship Show on 6th August 2005 Nattie won Limit Bitch and her 1st Challenge Certificate under Martyn Elliot.

Her kids did quite well too, Kobi won Best Puppy Dog, Edie won Best Puppy Bitch and Best Puppy in Breed.!

Limit Bitch (21,4) 1.Mr R and Mrs C Austin's Dallandor Natalia at Kenazorora BCC and BOS. Here I found another pearl. She has a lovely head and good eye and coat colour. A strong arched neck leads to a very correctly angulated front with good forechest and plenty between the elbows. She has a good spring of rib and sufficient brisket to make her outline correct with a slight tuck up. Her quality of bone is in proportion. Her back is straight and level and she has the correct set on of tail and tail carriage with a laid back croup. Moderate angulation at the rear gives an overall correct appearance for a Hungarian Vizlsa bitch. She could work all day, but has enough substance to complete the harder tasks asked of this breed in the field. The correct construction lead to correct movement. I was pleased to give her the CC as she complimented the dog in the challenge for BOB.
